Bloody cold, bloody muddy but bloody great !!!
Thanks Gill and Geoff for a great rally and introducing us to the area. Just a shame about the weather and conditions but the company more than made up for it. Jean and I will be returning in the summer for a better look around the area.
Jeff G1DYN.

Mud, Mud Glorious Mud...

We also had an enjoyable time even tho we cut our stay short and left a day early..

Don't tell Ed or Bev we had to have two other 4x4's hooked up to us to get off the field

I noticed plenty of cameras out during my extraction from the site, I'd love to see some photos,
You can send them to: paul-wright@ntlworld.com if your not sure how to post them on here

Thanks Geoff & Gill

Ok I will keep it as quiet as a marching brass band in a cave.
I was up to my knees in mud but never needed any assistance to get out. :nyah: :nyah:
Glad you had a good time, it is a lovely place in the summer Jeff, you will enjoy it.
All being well I will see you at Meon View.

Fantastic entertainment at the weekend, watching everyone slipping and sliding :? Weather watching was a good past time as well, what was it Mud, Wind, rain, hail, snow, does not get much better.

For once we did not get stuck, got off site easy, it did help the ground was frozen and we had a good run down hill!!

Had to help Bill which did Roy alot of good, made changing the car worthwhile :)

Thanks to Geoff and Gill for a good weekend they did well.

Love Judithxx

Yes I put my Subaru to the test and it passed with flying colours!
I was fortunate in that there was no churned up ground right in front of my van.
I took it gently and went accross the ruts formed by other vehicles to the exit accross the field.
Bill was less fortunate.
His pitch was low down and it was very wet so he had no way to get any traction.
He had a long rope and I was higher up, again in a clear non churned up area so I pulled him out easily.
It was pay back time, me helping him.

Well done Royston.
You have finally realised that if you have 4 wheels it is madness to only drive 2 ](*,) ](*,)
All you need now is a set of Mud Tyres and we will have you green lanning by August.

I don't think so, it is me who has to clean all the mud off afterwards, and it was bad enough after last weekend.

Your booking in form for next weekend has not arrived yet :?

That would be because I have not sent it.
As the rally was being organised by women I would have thought it not to be needed as they would know who was coming without being told.

Ok then I will drop it in on Monday (maybe).

I would appreciate a copy of any photo's taken after our arrival at the rally when the "happy hippo" bathed the front of our camper with mud after we got stuck.
Thanks in advance.
